@Sunburst, typing from my mobile so bear with me. kodri is foxtail millet. varagu is kodo millet and sanwa is kuthiravali or barnyard millet. so i am going to assume it is baryard. what we get in packs is processed so it cooks almost like rice. i dont do soaking time and the water i use is 1/5 th cup millet around 1/2 cup and more water a little trial and error. i did not soak it.i pressure cooked for 4 whistles for fluffy rice and the millets. my family prefers samai and varagu more than the thinai and kuthiravali. hope this has been helpful.
