    Thank you ma @Shanvy . The student had about 10-15 boats and was lamenting she had no place at home to keep them. I offered to free up some of her space :wink1:. Gave her one of our Indian mementos.

    A busy day..
    Morning started with plantain pith juice in buttermilk.

    And lunch being ammavasai..

    Chayote Sambhar( color is off due to very old tamarind), ladysfinger sabji,plantain pith steamed with moong dal, salads and curds with instant mango pickle.

    Thanks Shanvy. Kamala, it is some kind of Bihari paratha with roasted gram filling. Food ordered from outside today, thanks to the kindness of my cook. She came, made some pongal and some mushrooms. No veg, no raita, no kadhi, nothing to go with the pongal. No veggies in the pongal.
