Hi @madhu26 , Welcome to this thread. Its a good start that u have made up your mind for dieting. I feel the main challenge in weightloss is having the determination and intension to start. Once you start , you are over the biggest hurdle of procrastination (thinking will start next week, month , etc.) From my research , its possible to loose weight by only dieting , but adding a few things like taking the stairs instead of lift, walking for a minimum of 15-20 mins(while going or coming back from work) or any home exercise like Leslie Sansone walk .. will help in increasing your metabolism and loose weight faster. Also when we do some form of exercise, we feel bad to break our diet thinking we worked hard so much for the activity, so we will think twice before reaching for the cookie jar . My update: Finished dinner at 5 yesterday and went for my usual walk. tried out the turmeric tea recipe by skinny recipes in youtube this morning at 7. I actually liked the taste. Planning to do this for 5 days to see if there is any effect. So fasting time was 14 hours yesterday. @magnashri @shravs3 have u girls started IF yet?
