Good Cookware Set To Use On Daily Basis....

    hey, we recently moved to our new house and I am still setting up my kitchen... I got one set of steel cookware, one set of non stick I am using non stick set for our daily use as of now and its getting hard to clean those as oil is sticking to side and looking awkward I am trying to clean it with paper towel,soap right away but still I can feel its kind of greasy... experienced cooked pro please suggest me what kind of dishes I need to use for daily use.. we are only family of 3,4...just need some suggestions as to which kind of set I need to buy..

    hey... thanks for reply.. this is the same set I got it as of now.. but the problem with that is when I cook in this pan the oil stains are on the top sides of pan... u know any trick to clean that... I was using nonstick because of cleaning problem... I need to start using steel pans now... I love the set you mentioned above...

    I just use a scotchbrite, the violet color one works good, havent had a problem cleaning these..for stubborn stains would use steel scrub, but havent had the need for them yet

    I would actually recommend cast iron skillets for sauteing. Cleaning is a breeze, uses less oil and seasoned cast iron skillets offer good non stick capabilities also.
    For cleaning stainless steel pans, I use bar keeper's friend and dish soap mixed together and a little bit of elbow grease using a steel wool really works.

    I use the green one I don't know if there is any difference in the color... I will try violet one next time lets see how it goes ....

    I haven't tried iron pans yet to look into that...
    whatever soaps u mentioned name sounds funny.. are they really available..

    It's an idiom for working hard :smile:. While scrubbing, elbow is at work:grimacing:. I too learned @ this only from some forum:sunglasses:. You don't have to buy it in Target. I am sure many stores carry it.
