Fridge Recommendations in Chennai

Dear All,

I am looking for recommendations for buying a Fridge this New Year. As you know there is always a big sale for New Year in Chennai.

My Mother has a Whirlpool refrigerator and is looking to replace it with some other brand.

I would appreciate your comments and recommendations in this regard.

i have a 380lts samsung double door with a in built stabiliser that works even at voltages as low as 130 which is really helpful when the voltage fluctuations peaks frequently..and if you are a family of 4 or more, go for a little bigger one..say 380..the depth and space is good..there are times i find this space is not enough for my family..

You are right Shanthi. We have 280lts fridge and we are 3 in the family.

With buying weekly supplies of fruits and veggies over the weekend and idly and dosa batter for the week, there is very little place for everything else.

yeah lakshmi,

with things spoiling fast,even red chillies (that used to be added to ward off worms earlier) these days, freezer bursts at the seams..while i have lots of things in my fridge..there are days when my fridge is ready to burst ...
