    I nominate @yellowmango 's post-advice in the thread titled Women-in-Comfort-Zone-Always-Complaining.

    Member yellowmango in her typical style, comes right to the point, and slaps that advice down. And then elaborates. In our myths, and literature, this style is often celebrated as the best manner of communication. Like God Hanuman coming back from Lanka to Ram... and says "Seen Sita"...before going on the long verbiage on the travelogue, and events.

    When reading that post I RFLOL...:roflmao:, because, before I thought of the Ramayana scene, I thought of Cher dispensing yellowmango style advice in a movie scene:

    Dear Cheeniya Sir,

    Thank you as always for your words of appreciation. Truly appreciate them :)
    I may not know you sir, but I do know that while you may claim to be a Walter Matthau, you certainly don't spread that grumpiness. Ask anyone who reads you and the one thing we all appreciate you is for your sense of humor!

    @Thyagarajan
    My dear Thyagu
    Thank you for your nomination of @Agatha83 's Our Old Age Home
    I always believe that if we get our opening line catchy, the rest of the write-up will flow through like a
    'brook when it trips and falls over Stones on its way'. I can well relate to Agatha's nostalgia having lived in a similar ambience in my childhood.
    Agatha switches over from the joys of yesteryear to the pains of nuclear families and beyond. And she causes a lump in our throat. I often think of the old age home as the vanaprastha of the kings of yore. Old age is the inevitable stage of every human being. To go into the final stage of life is tough if we do not mentally prepare ourselves for it. 'This stage is marked by renunciation of material desires and prejudices, represented by a state of disinterest and detachment from material life, generally without any meaningful property or home (Ascetic), and focussed on Moksha, peace and simple spiritual life.' says our Ashrama System. I understand it only too well.

    Dear Cheeniya Sir,

    Thank you for your philosophical feedback, which made me feel it was Vishwa, the profound theologist in IL who had written the piece.
    How much ever we talk and practice Bhagavath Gita in life, there are times, during old age, that we all crave for a human voice. If only my physical, and financial security is assured, I am ready to live even in Amazon jungles!
