A wonderful reply by kkrish which is very typical of her style. The concluding sentence 'Family and friends are an integral part of our lives, but they are not key to our happiness. It is only you, not even our spouse or children, but only "you", the inner you, that is key to happiness' is quite Vedantic. There is a song in the Tamil movie Thiruvarutchelvar.
It essentially means that you are searching for something that is within you all over the world.

Hari's writings always remind me that brevity is the soul of wit. One can say what he wants through lengthy and unwinding sentences but brevity has a greater effect.
I loved his concluding sentence 'Making a habit of loving someone, caring someone and missing someone guarantees solid affection.' I have not come across a more powerful message on relationship than this one.

 

I am nearing my goal of twenty nominations. It is nineteen already! I pat myself with great difficulty on my back!
