    I appreciate the nomination, but I must add that I was simply rephrasing a meditation practice built around non-judgmental awareness, advanced by others - one that has helped me. I cannot take credit for it!

    I wish I had known that technique as a student suffering the Sunday night blues. :lol:

    You know what? Whenever I feel low, I remind myself to be happy. What a waste of time it is to feel low! Real happiness is something that lasts longer, perhaps for a life time. We are all in pursuit of it.

    Thanks a lot for proposing the post of @SunPa in Handling Jealousy With Siblings
    But most importantly forgive yourself , every time your negative feelings take hold. It will get better.
    A very sane advice indeed. But as a man who has witnessed much passage of time, I can tell you that parents play a huge role in nipping jealousy among sibling at the bud. My two daughters who have an age difference of less than two were brought up by us very carefully. We avoided any difference in our treatment of them. We would not show any difference in our treatment of them. Both of them are nearing 50 now and I am happy to see that they get along like 'teeth and gum' that would make any parent blissful.
    Thanks a lot for your input SunPa in tackling a problem that troubled even Adam and Eve when one of their two sons killed the other.

    Whenever I read anything written by Sokanasanah, I tell myself 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra' He is an enviable encyclopedia of Indusladies'. Beware, his 'emojis' at the conclusion of anything he writes are highly misleading. He tells us something profound or enlightening and closes it with a :beer-toast1:
