    Some things that i have learn from this forum..also searched on net... hope this helps you

    1)if you eat less than 1200 cal /day .. your body might go in starvation mode and hence it will be more difficult to reduce weight
    2) Exercising more then 1 hr will also not help in lossing weight
    3) with any health problem weight loss is more slow
    4) if your metabolism is slow then weight loss is slow ..( try to boost metabolism)
    5) Increased stress may also lead to weight gain
    6) in your daily diet are you getting all the essential vitamin , calcium etc etc

    Just relax and make a diet that you can follow for a week ...

    Thats what happen to me..as i start calculating calories from last month when i join this tread.. to keep myself update how much iam taking in..
    had increase my workout routine.. still this happen so heart breaking.:bowdown.i eat just a day..coz it was raining i didnt went out for workout just relax at home..i understand

    that no workout mean no calories burn but putting on 2pound is something like undigestable..feel like got punshinment after cheating..lol:-(.before weighing i was so exciting that may be i loose some pounds crap...

    let see.. hoping for the best.. will weigh next week

    do you have a tape ??? then take your measurement and also see if your clothes are getting loose ....sometime it so happens that we gain muscles which leads to increase in weight ..

    SGA it may be possible.. i consult to the instructor @ gym he told me that this may happen coz iam pushing my self too hard to loose..may be this is coz of muscle..but the funny part is my clothes are still same.. no changes..i have a jean..that i bought just after my marriage. i tried to wear that jeans again the same thing.. i cant wore it above my knee..:-(

    Even i had a heavy dinner yesterday.. i gained 2lbs ...i had done my workout yesterday...
    may be its jus temporary weight gain and it will come down in 2 days time ... So just relax

    Its not necessary that you might have reduced in your lower body .... last time when i reduce little weight it was off my arms and some times i reduce overall just 1cm which is not even noticed ... but my waist line has not reduced at all

    Continue with your diet and exercise .....:cheers

    me in.... 144 :hide: i wanna be 100lb

    breakfast:strawberry milkshake
    lunch: 6 chicken nuggets
    snack:apple and green tea
    Dinner chapathy and fish (which i am yet to prepare...Lazy u see...)


    Am i eating healthy???....where should i reduce???

    Am 5feet 5inch(165cm).
    The reason I asked is, your taget was 100lbs and I was like what!!!!
    Did you calculate BMI based on your ht & wt?

    What is your current wt?

    Rise,

    You should add solid food to your breakfast. Just a shake is not a good breakfast.
    Make your dinner lighter. Chapathi is good for dinner.
