Dishwasher is a very good thing that every home should have now a days. I guess Whirlpool is one such good thing to buy. Dishwasher basically saves lot of time and energy and very helpful for busy moms in maintaining a beautiful kitchen.

Look at KitchenAid or Maytag...both are very good. I need to get a new dishwasher also (when budget allows) as my 35 year old KitchenAid (my mom bought it and I inherited it) died last fall....R.I.P. You might also investigate Bosch but I have no first hand experience on that one.

I just went to Home depot and lowes to enquire on a DW.
Kitchen AId and Bosch seem totally out of my budget, no way i can afford that. I am looking for something in whirlpool/GE brand

I think you better then go through the website model by model and read the reviews. I have been told that to get a model that will last moderately well you have to spend in the $400 range.

Could you please tell me what is wrong with your oven as I might be able to tell you how to fix it economically. Old is not really a problem for a lot of ovens. I need to know whether it is electric or gas and what is not working properly.
