    Will try that. I have a couple of people including my niece who is a physio telling me that I have a flat foot, though I never realized I do. But then it has never hurt me like it does now. I can try doing some of the stretches.

    I pushed on too, Shanvy, with 30 mins of walking at moderate speed. I plan to keep it at this for at least a week now. No more increase. Let my muscles get used to this activity.

    Yes @satchitananda something that helps us. She says do not bend forward. Sit straight. Stand straight. Remember bending is not the issue
    Getting back you irritate the nerve. She says think of your spine as a shock absorber that has lost its flexibilty. I was like ( all is nice but it is my body):p and i have pain

    When I complained about pain on exercising, the very nice doctor told me 'you are a veteran of pain, so you can take some more'. Need I say what I felt like doing to him?

    I often rue the lack of sufficiently advanced physio in India. It is at best rudimentary. Wish I could find someone who could really help me.

    @satchitananda @Shanvy
    Admire your strength and positivity. I shall not complain about my incy wincy pains

    What one instructor told me is dont thing straight, think tall. So sit tall , stand tall and walk tall.Just remember to relax the shoulders too. I would imagine myself to be an Egyptian Queen :p

    @SunPa thank you. I have to walk like a model and sit like a queen with my spine straight. And yes i agree tall makes you want to do it right.

    And another thing ahe says the first thing your spine is a little fluid(?) as it absorbs all the water when you sleep. Do not do anything strenuous during the first one hour and here i used to do leslie just after getting up. Though i have heard about not getting up abrutly turn to the side give yourself a couple of minutes and get up.
