    Hi Ilites,

    This thread is started as a continuation to the thread: Anyone joining my declutter challenge?
    In that thread, many of us shared weekly cleaning updates and have reached to a stage where the house is relatively good looking

    Starting this thread with a view to maintain the same and to share updates and tips to keep us all motivated.

    Hello There,

    Sorry did not get your name....
    I am a working mother of a 26 months kid. Ours is a joint family.
    It takes so much of an effort from myside to keep the house clean and tidy with very less time I have in a day.... and no help from In laws also...
    I would like to join this thread and have a home out of a house...
    IL's please share your valuable tips which I can Implement in ma life and house and make it a home sweet home....

    Daily 10 minute cleaning schedule

    Hi Ilites,

    Lets do cleaning as a part of our every day activities.
    Max of 10 minutes a day - not more than that

    Steps to do:
    1. Pick a time to do it - same time every day
    2. Pick a task for the day - write on a white board if you have one, else keep a small notebook, or if you spend more time at the computer, keep a file on the computer
    3. Pick a song for the day to sing along
    4. Sing the song and do the task.

    Today's 10 minute task

    anyone can contribute to the everyday task and do it as per your convenience.

    I can start with a suggestion for today:

    Take a plastic bag in your hand, go around the rooms, look for things that are lying around and need to be thrown away. Just pick those items, keep putting it in the bag.

    Then the bag goes straight to the dustbin
