    I've been meaning to try this one. I found it here. I also saw some on runners world. I'll find it for you.

    I've been asked by a friend to hike with her as well. I went once. Then neither of us found the time :) Plus there is no place here to hike! Do you have a hiking group that you hike with?

    Please count me in as well. I need to lose at least 2 pounds a month. Older I get , my metabolism is not helping.
    Things to focus
    1. No carbs during dinner
    2. Lot of water
    3. 45 mins of exercise 5 times a week.
    4. No stress eating (realized I am doing this recently)

    Thanks for the yummy BF ideas..will comb the net for more and see if I can update here.
    Yes I am a part of few hiking groups.one from work ...we meet on sunday ...one with friends on sat..
    Other than that I have a close group of friends who like to hike..so yup.. have zero excuses.

    Hello Sri,

    Last year, your thread on weight loss journey was what bought me to IL . Last year was filled with ups and downs not just in life also with my weight. With ankle injury and work and family issues, maintaining my health took a back seat. Joining you, even if I wasn't all that regular, helped me maintain a bit.

    I really love your spirit , your mantra.
    I will eat right
    I will exercise
    I will earn my body


    Weight Early Jan was 60kg
    Target End Jan is 59kg

    Ideally want to go down to a BMI of 20.5

    1. Reducing sugar - a challenge
    2. No food after 8pm - bigger challenge
    3. Regular work outs
    4. 10k steps average

    tea + 1 biscuit
    Soup +1 roti

    No workouts...

    18th Jan
    - met my goals of exercising ( 35 mins ), water and limited carbs for dinner .

    19th Jan To do's

    45 mins exercise
    2 liter water
    7 sets of surya namaskaras
    Limited carbs for dinner or not touch food after 7.00 pm
    Keep myself calm ( with disturbed sleep from son's asthma and working from home with son and keeping up with daughter's not so cooperative attitude from last few days )

    Goals for day 19th Jan....done.
    Breakfast- Had a banana and glass of unsweetened soy milk .
    Exercise.-45 min elliptical in the morning at 75 % max resistance. It said 3 miles..which is about 6000 steps. The rest is easy given I log more than 4000 steps on a regular day ( take a 30-40 min walk during my lunch break)
    Feel good today !
