weightloss friends group 2015

    Hello Lovely Ladies,

    I would like to join you all in this challenge too. I haven't been able to lose weight post pregnancy. My daughter is now 2 yr old. I tried a bunch of diets and went down to 140 pounds last summer but I gained it all back. I think I need some motivation.

    Starting weight - 150 lbs
    Target weight March end - 145 lbs

    [FONT=Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif]I will try to do the following and other guidances from you:
    [/FONT]1. Avoid/Stop binge eating (mostly chocolates and pastries)
    2. LS walk - at least 2 miles everyday.
    3. Green tea everyday
    4. Lots of water

    its ok sabari... he is too small so give him all your time... dont worry dear... just eat healthy and drink lots of water.... through nursing itself you are burning good amount of calories.....

    14/1 update

    early morning warm water + warm water with apple cider vinegar

    bf - wholemeal cereal with apple and lf milk

    mm - pineapple

    lunch - 2 phulkas with bhindi

    snack - popcorn 1 bowl

    dinner - steamed fish + lettuce salad + 2 spn rice

    workout

    30 mins walking

    15 mins arms with weights - jello arm workout with HAsfit

    water - 3 ltrs

    BF - Bombay sandwich with cucumber & tomato + tea with 1% milk & sugar

    Lunch - Moong Dal idli(2) with sambar + plantain flower stir fry

    Evening Snack - Tea with marie biscuit

    Dinner - Grilled Salmon + 1 bowl of low fat yoghurt

    I'm hoping to find some time for 1 mile LS walk too. Fingers crossed!

    Hello Ladies,

    Happy New Year!!

    I was down with acidity issues so couldn't follow any proper diet or workout. But, I'm back now. I try to avoid sour items like citrus fruits, berry, tamarind, spicy items and follow a very mild diet includes more plain 2% home made yogurt, milk.

    Here are my updates,

    Jan 13:
    Morning - 1 cup honey water (on empty stomach) , 1 cup boost, 2 wheat bread slices, soaked almonds
    Breakfast - 1 small bowl honey bunch of oats, fruits smoothie (with vegan protein powder)
    Lunch - Brown rice, chapati, boiled egg white, vegetable, yogurt
    Dinner - Idly, chutney, 1 cup viva (sometimes just plain milk without sugar)

    Workout:
    Treadmill - normal walk - 10 mins; inclined walk - 30 mins
    Elliptical - 20 mins
    Squats
    Arm workout

    Jan 14:

    Arm workout

    Question:
    Is it good to have yellow part of egg? I hear mixed reviews so just thought to clarify. Few say that yolk is animal fat but few others say that when we don't eat yellow part then we're not consuming the full energy out of egg. Is it so?

    MM - small piece of pineapple cake + green tea
    L - 2 roti + dalma + green tea
    AN - 1 small flap jack + 3/4 cashew + pumpkin seed + 1 small tomato breadstick + coffee
    N - 1 bowl of vegetable soup + 1 slice of mango


    E - 5 miles ( LS + abs challenge + HIIT abs & cardio )
    Water - 3 lit
    portion control - yes
    green tea - twice
    soup - yes

    Food:

    Bfast - 2 slices brown bread with nutella and coffee
    Lunch - 1 cup of pongal with kootu
    Dinner - 2 dosas
    Snacks - 1 slice of brown bread and 1 cup bournvita

    Exercise
    LS walk - 4 miles

    1. Had 2 ltrs of water
    2. Did not walk for 15 mins after dinner
    3. Green tea - 1 cup done
