    I've heard of an NGO 'Yuva Unstoppable' working in Ahmedabad for underprivileged children. If anyone knows about it please share some information. What are their areas of work and how to contact them.

    Hi Sejal,
    YuVa Unstoppable is doing a wonderful job in Ahmedabad. I have a friend who is also associated with the organization. You can check out a few of their projects in Ahmedabad like

    Samvedana - Vadej
    Activities: It’s a municipal school. YuVA provides service here to 400 kids from last 3 years.

    B.P.A. - IIM Char Rasta
    Activities: providing education to blind kids. YuVA is helping them in recording and writing.

    Visamo Kids - Bopal
    Activities: A Visamo kids is an initiative of calorax foundation. They provide shelter and top class education to underprivileged kids. We help them in achieving their objective.

    Feed the Hungry - Near Drive-In
    Activities: We run this project in a municipal school. We started this project only to feed the children and now have started teaching children as well those interested and playing games.

    Sparsh
    Activities: This is a street school. We run it on every weekend. We give education to almost 50 kids. It’s YuVA’s own project.

    YuVa Unstoppable is also doing commendable work in Baroda. Apart from their active role in TOI's Teach India initiative, YuVa undertakes several humanitarian projects . A few significant among these are:

YuVa Volunteers help grow the spirit of them being normal.

    Juvenile Home
    :
    This is a Criminal Home where troubled kids are given refuge so as to help them become responsible citizens. Volunteers mainly concentrate on building healthy amicable bonds with the kids. Stress is laid on sharing personal life experiences with the juveniles to instill in them sound moral values.

    Street Project: Children are brought from different area of the city. YuVA provides them with entertainment, health tips and education which are very necessary for them to grow as a person who can be independent.

    Arpan – School of Mentally Challenged
    :
    This place shelters physically disabled or mentally handicapped kids. This unique project not only challenges the patience of the volunteers but also instills a more humane attitude in them. Sharing quality time with the kiddies and undertaking activities such as will appeal to their innocent minds- singing jingles, dancing, so on and so forth are the quintessential YuVA Unstoppable features of this place.

    Handmade Home: Wherein students from all the above projects are identified for their special skills and all the volunteers remain present during that course of time.It goes without saying that children from economically backward families form the main bulk of population here. Yuva Unstoppable Yuva-ites help these kids in academia so that they can become financially self reliant.
