    In English litrature:

Jane Austen: Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensiblilities, Emma.

Marlyn french: She is an amazing women writer, who writes with a feminist percepective. I have read just two books so far, 'Womens room', 'In the name of friendship'. She is a brilliant writer. I will recommend her ' Womens room' to everyone.

Joanna trollope: I just LOVE her books. Some of them are 'A Spanish Lover, 'Girl from the South', 'Marrying the mistress' etc. To tell you the truth I have read almost all her books and she has never ever disappointed me.

Phillipa Gregory: She is also very good. Her books which I have enjoyed 'The queens fool, 'The other Boleyn girl', 'The Virgin's lover', 'The constant princess' etc. These all books are fiction based on English history, truely enjoyble.

I like books by Anita Desai and Alice Walker as well.

In Marathi litrature I like Mr. P. L. Deshpande ( Who wouldn't!!), Gouri Deshpande, Sania etc

Apart from these writers I am always on the look out for new writers.

"Right now I am reading Smoke and Mirrors An Experience of China" by Pallavi Iyer.

If one is interested in China , this book is full of people and their attitudes. I felt I got to know something more about China and its people.

I liked toe book very much. I am looking forward to read more of Pallavi Iyer. Her style appeals to me.
