    Presenting my yellow batwa - pouch. This was given as a gift to my friend Shuba from Abu Dabhi. I picked up this pattern from crafts@kimberlychapman.com modified to suit/fit my mobile. The pattern is the garter stitch- knit all rows in the center and for the hand it is a rib pattern and for the base it is rows of knit and purl.

    So lcky to receive your feed back first Sudha. Yes it has provisions to insert a thread or satin tape. Due to paucity of time I was not able to do. One can also stitch an 1/2 inch velcro.
