Think about this: The more you study, the more you know The more you know, the more you forget The more you forget, the less you know The less you know, the less you forget The less you forget, the more you know, Then why study at all? This used to be a favourite 'logic' when I was in school. It was so oft repeated that it has stayed in my mind even today! Today, however, (I still study, nonetheless) I thought one needs to modify this ditty. I am watching "Our Planet" on Netflix. As usual an extremely well researched series with phenomenal photography and loads of information. However, information has this uncanny way of making me worry. So when I see the polar caps melting, the frozen seas vanishing, it worries me a lot. @Gauri03, are you listening? I was thinking the ditty needs to be modified to The more you read, the more you know The more you know, the more you worry The more you worry, the faster you age The faster you age, the faster you forget The faster you forget, the less you can The less you can, the less you read The less you read, the less you know The less you know, the less you worry So why read at all? Having said which, I am returning to Netflix to watch how I and future generations are going to get destroyed very soon and hope that Mother Earth will get some 'me' time away from all these pesky, dim-witted children of hers.
