    SDG - Sustainable Development Goals
India was key in the UN to develop these SDG's for every country - to measure and update every now and then and gauge the progress.
And now India's NITI-Aayog ( cutely Hinglish name!! that stands for National Institution for Transforming India ) has put out a new data compilation document on the progress of India's states with respect to SDG's. Kerala is Top Number One and Bihar ranks last. Of the top 14 states, NONE of them have Hindi as their local (vernacular) language. These are the "above average" in the attainment of SDG's.

The Print's host describes the SDG index and explains. The states are categorized into (3)aspirants (2) performers (1)frontrunners based on how they had progressed in SDG's. A government document cannot call anyone with a pejorative label :smilecat: :
