    It’s so easy for people to say, “forgive” when they themselves never had to face the said trauma.

    People always find it easy to say how others should spend their time, money, and how others should dispense forgiveness. Often, accompanied with a "If I were him/her, I would <never> ..."

    No two people face a trauma similarly. They are equipped with and at the mercy of their past experiences. If one trauma-sufferer forgives, it doesn't mean all similar sufferers should forgive. Forgiving or not does not mean a person is a better human being. Everyone does what it takes to get through the minute, hour and day.
