I should hope NOT if he is a man in the real sense of the word. I assume, if he is married or of marriageable age, the umbilical cord is cut off a long time ago and he can function as an indepedent male. Your love for your parents should not diminish just becasue you don't live in the same house. And in today's world, men and women leave their parents house long before they get married, in most cases for education or work.

So I am sure even if it hurts him he will just survive. Just like women have been surviving for centuries, when they got married and left their parenst house.

Or are you of the belief that its ok for woman to leave her parenst house but the helpess man????

And I must add- women do not take their husbands away. Give the man some credit. They are perfectly capable of making their own decisions. Men and women who decide to live seperate from both their families are adults who seek to start their own lives and their own families- as adults. It does not mean that they don't love their parents. Maybe they love their respective parents too much and want to avoid the conflict that usually arise when many adults live under the same roof, all with different expectations.

P.S.- No offence to those who live with their parents. Opinions in contex of OP's qestions.

Diva, Diva, Diva..., there is the 'umbilical cord' and then there are the 'apron strings.' Beeg difference... :)

Diva diva diva sounds like Deva deva deva dialog from a south Indian movie. :)

So, what is 'apron strings' in Hindi? :confused2:

come to think of it, what is 'apron' in Hindi? Strings would be 'kachche dhaage'? :)

Mummy ke apron ke kachche dhaage = apron strings?
