why do some ladies add turmeric when they have headbath?

    Am just a bit curious.. but I have known some ladies who have added turmeric to the bucket of water with which they are going to have headbath? Would any of you know the reason

    May be Trumeric contains natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent in it.
