Why designer sarees are gaining popularity?
because they are designer sarees :hide: obviously they look a lot better and feel good right
JAW, I think she meant the OP meant the stonework / embroidery sarees compared to the older, silk border, contrast colored border looks.
OP, just another trend, which can reverse any minute now.
Designer saree's are for those who are interested in SPL n different saree's.
Designer saree's are those specially designed for youths
Designer saree can be worn by anyone not only youth, but it should look trendy and decent.
1. Because they want their saree or dress to be special and not like anybody else's
2. the embroidery etc stuff became popular because of tv serials and some movies I guess.
3. and now people can afford and buy lots of clothes for festival or family functions. Before ordinary people unable to afford such type of clothes except for shadi lehangas etc
:exactly: Well said. and now we can easily order online, it will be delivered to home directly.
:thankyou2: @dimhere for helping me. I did not understand like that first time when I read OP.
I know I said specially for youth . I did not say only for youth
Yes not only youth but I guess everyone has become concious with their appreances and dont want to look common.
So the outfit designed by Indian Designers like Rohit Bal, Payal Pratap
are different as they eperiment with Indian craft skills, handwoven textiles.
Younger designers – Anavila, Pero, Ikai, Eka – who are experimenting with craft in beautiful, unique ways.
Because they are easy to wear and reasonable in price range..
