    My dear Sathya,

I salute you! You did a noble cause in a situation where most wouldn't be capable to think of the ordinary even, forget about thinking beyond the ordinary. That you thought beyond the here and now and did what you did, is simply inspirational!

About your loss, my sincere wishes and warmest hugs to help you come to terms with it. I know that a loss as grave as this can never be overcome, it can only be dealt with by accepting the harsh reality and hoping that as years go by the mind becomes strong enough to endure the pain.

    Lots of luv,
    SS

    My dear dear friend Sathya,

Even in your sorrow, you remembered to write to all of us. I feel very helpless. I wish I could somehow make it good for you. All I can do is pray and ask Him to give you peace and heal your wound.

    Love and hugs,
    Kamla

    Sathya,
As Kamla pointed out, I am moved by the way you had replied to all in your own imitable style...happy that you are coming out of that situation slowly...and steadily...

    hello latha

    you sure right about
    eyes being donated
    eye donation
    or recieving a donor eye
is not new in our family
    my mom has received a
    donor eye
    (unfortunately it is not working
as it was a little late in receiving i guess)
and some relatives have given it before
all the same when it comes
    to ones own dear ones...
it is a happy and sad state at one time
happy he is seeing two worlds
and sad that i have to wrench it away
nice to know that your father's eyes
    were donated too.
now they are seeing two worlds i guess
    and beautiful ones at that
thank you for your kind words of solace

    Dear dear Sathya
My heartfelt condolences and big bear hugs to you. So sorry to hear about the loss of your other half. You did a commendable job in donating his eyes, definitely he will be happy you have done a yeomen service to two souls deprived of the pleasures of sight of this wonderful world. I admire your courage in taking such a big decision at such time of sorrow. My :bowdown:bowdown:bowdown to you.
Lots of love and hugs during your time of sorrow
