Which language to teach in vacation?

    I want to teach my kids hindi so that i will be useful when we move back to india as many schools in india have hindhi as one subject.
    husband says first teach mother tongue then go for other languages.

    im confused.which one to start first?

    if i start teaching both the languages kids may get confused with the alphabet .kids are 5yrs old.

    please share your thoughts on this.

    Minni,
    Kids will learn and pick up languages fast.
    So no need to worry, take things easy.
    As both lang are needed for kids, I think we (mother's) will think in school perspective.
    But you are right, we need to teach one thing at a time, else they would get confused.
