I have a job offer (working from home) for a copy editing and the company would pay in Rupees . I am an NRI living in UAE and would like to take up this job. I don' t have a PAN card neither an account in India. I am asked to obtain a PAN card and an account before taking up this job. Can any one tell me how to go about it. Also which bank is best for NRO account. Is it possible to open NRE account for this kind of job?
Cant they transfer through Paypal. In India, agents are there to obtain Paypal. U need to pay them and give them the docs, they will process and obtain the PAN Card. If u want an account in India go for SBI or HDFC.
Please visit https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/index.html you can apply for PAN card online. W.r.t NRO account there are whole host of private bank that offer the service. Though slightly costly ICICI might be better
