Hi, I have recently started sewing ...can anyone please let me know where I can buy stretchable material for top/dress in Pune? I saw some stretchable material in MG road (behind aurora towers)..I think it was lycra but they have only white and if you pay extra they dye it in color you want. I not sure if dress would come nice in that fabric (it was a bit thick kind of material)... Is there any good place where I can find stretchable material?
hi rima.....sorry i just fumbled upon your post query now.. maybe its a delay too late. but neverthe less.. For all kinds of materials one can check hyfashion, situated at laxmi road. the first floor of the bldg stocks all kinds of materials and cut pieces and the rates are very reasonable. Lycra is the material vch is easily stretchable and can be used for tops and fit blouse. The available colours are White, black, pink, green and skin colour. dyeing is not a good option in this material, since the colour will run fast. incase u wondering how do i know so mcuh....well the shop is not mine, but recently visited it to make a purchase of lycra skin colour, so the memory is fresh. :thumbsup happy shopping....
