    My dear friends,

The Incident today at Bihar wherein 3 youths picked up by villagers for their motorcycle snatching crime and brutally attacked, eyes pierced and those culprits are lying at hospitals.

However police deny that the TV news that the culprits eyes were not pierced.

Public taking law in their own hands instead of Police actions...Where do we lead ???

Recently we witnessed an incident where police and public thrashed a chain theif and dragged him in motorcycle for miles in Bhagalpur. Court investigated a probe.

Now to day, 3 youths aged between 18 to 20 were picked by villagers on cell phone intimation from the person from whom the motorcycle was looted at gun point at the village Vardaha.( Bihar Nawada district )

The youths were being thrashed in public and brutally injured & has to be hospitalized now.

Now the police has booked cases against 400 villagers for violence and attempt to murder.

what will happen to these villagers families, how many days they have to toil to the court and jail.

The concern is not about the villagers picking up these boys for their motor cycle theft, but the brutal attack enmasse.

Again another bad news just flashed in News channel stating that 10 more thieves were lynched to death at Dhelpurva village near Vaishali district for a theft at Sitaram's house in Chauripur village .

Here again Police have filed cases against 100 villagers....

Why the villagers have to go to that extent, than handing over the culprits to police for furthur actions,

Why do they take law in their own hands.

We donot advocate the crime, but the manner in which it is being handled....

Donot take law in to our hands is our utmost requests.

    Hi
This is extreme time ,people r just using any excuse to rent their rage & frustation on any trival or serious matter. This all is due to lack of moral & deciplianry education in society in every class of people from just after independence ,People dont hasitate to murder for petty things crimes r skyhigh ,no regard or respect for justice . The rising violence is becoming out of control. Really a matter to worry & everybody shud do something to curtail it.
    Jaishree :-(

    common subbu sir,

What did the police do the thief...in the same state...and also to the lady activist of kashmir..they were brutually beaten in front of the camera...the police were not frightened...

Nowadays..nobody has the patience to think...they react to the mass decisions or ..nobody would have stopped to think why they are doing it...They would have just whacked two more times...to let out all their frustations....that is how we are today...

on a short fuse....People with short fuses are often very unsympathetic about the effect of their anger on other people

Otherwise there would not be violence in agra..over an accident....mobs are people who dont have anything better to do and enjoy breaking others property and get paid in return by politicians.

Oh i could go on and give lots of examples...but the truth is we need anger management and stress management even at school level....

    Our Dear Shanvy,

Very valid Points presented and it is the frustrations and agony of the public for having seen such atrocities happening around the society.

The inablity of Law & Order by the Authoriities leads the common man to take law in to their own hands..That's the concern for us.

As you have rightly said "
the truth is we need anger management and stress management even at school level.... "

Time to educate the citizens on their role as well as official machinery to behave with strict enforcement of law & order.

    Hi Subbu,

    Good observation.

I think today the people are so frustrated with the law and order situation in our country.....that the norm of the day has become"might is right"

The stress and adverse conditions that the public is facing all over the world today is so distracting....the rich are becoming richer & the poor poorer.

So even a slight provocation can lead to venting out their frusted emotions.

People like you and me need to come forward and try to help as many people as possible. Always monetary help is not possible to even a stress buster exercise or practical examples can help a long way.

This is a very debateable topic and i am sure one can go on and on on this. Hence i'll stop here.

    Roopa.

    Roopaji,

Thanks for the feedbacks and it is true that this situation is never ending problem, unless, untill every individual takes up the responsiblities and co-operative to set things in order.

No amount of spoonfeeding is possible and youngsters have to come forward to share their responsiblities.

The great disparity among the rich and poor, needs and unfulfilled tasks leads to frustrations.

What ever said and done, the governance should be transperent and common civil code is a must.

    Our dear Jaishree,

Thanks for the kind visits and observations.

Very thoughtful gesture to highlight the causes for these heartburn issues and well suggested to involve all walks of life to think about it & take some firm actions.

Better implement before it is too late....

    Dear all,
plz don't mind for telling this.
iam agree with those villagers, but the punishment is too cruel, but after seeing this defl'y thieves will get afraid, will think abt stealing. see if thieves comes to our house will he shows pity?? infront of us my bil was beaten by a thief heavily on his head with a steel rod, luckily he survived or else,oh my god,the thought itself makes me :-(
what public is doing is right, what law will do,maxi,he'll b in jail in for 6 months thatz all again he'll do the same. itz all hard earned money by middle class & poor class people.
only thing is cruelity in people's mind, the videos, oh my god,itz very cruel.
    dharma adi.
    2nd thing,s jaishree u r right,public wasting the public property,they r also paying for that,thro tax,buses how many lakhs r wasting,those should be punished heavily by police.
