    Poll for 12th August 2007 to 18th August 2007

    Hello ILites
Welcome to this week's poll topic.

Yes I am still in the hang of the lunch party at Chitvish's place. This week poll topic is about party and planning. Party is a socialising affair that we ladies do enjoy a lot. We are all fond of both attending as well as hosting a party. But hosting a party involves lots of effort and time and energy. Planning a perfect menu along with the entertainment is also very vital.
Take up this week's poll topic, cast your votes and do not forget to tell us that all important party you planned and how successful it was.
Let me be the first one to start, the recent party I planned is for a special welcome back lunch for my dear hubby who was back from a week long official trip from Australia. Well hubby is fond of South Indian delicacies so with the help of Chitvish I planned a typical SI menu that reads: Chinna vengaya irupuli khuzhabu, lemon jeeraka rasam, vazhaipoo usili, kathirikai sadam, pomogranate raitha, hot carrot halwa with chilled rabdi. Only exception to the theme was the Black forest cake - which had an icing of "Welcome Sathy" and Sweet corn veg soup.

Ladies, you too must have had such wonderful part ideas, I am all ears to know about your hip and happening parties.

    Hi Laxmi,

Nice topic. Actually i always plan surprise parties at the spur of the moment and whatever comes to my mind at that point of time i just do it.

It is difficult to poll as none of the poll questions fit my bill and all the ideas are very impromptu.

    Regards
    Roopa.
