There is a push to teach and “empower” girls and women, IT. I am being encouraged to study and clear a cybersecurity exam. So far I am grasping concepts, but can you suggest blogs and websites that opens ones eyes to cybersecurity So far it’s alphabet soup with standards, acronyms. I guess some people, esp boys and men, are interested in this type of technology I really want to have deep appreciation, not just a piece of paper. lot of Desis (north, south, east, west) are in this field. Plz give a fellow ILlite some mentoring
Start with the beginner levels on TryHackMe | Cyber Security Training They have simplified and gamified cybersecurity fundamentals. There are different learning tracks depending on specialization. This one is for complete novices - TryHackMe | Beginner Level Read news reporting and articles on cybersecurity issues. MIT Technology Review has great articles on the topic - Cybersecurity | MIT Technology Review Read through their archives to gain an appreciation of the topic and relevant issues. They published excellent reporting on the Israeli NSO group, as well as on Log4J. Their articles are generally accessible to beginners. NSO group here and here, and Log4J here.
ohhh I am trying out the try hack me site. I wish more people are encouraged to see this page before diving into textbooks, or following lab instructions. Really want to be deserving of the CISSP!
