    Dear IL'ites,

    Today, we hit 2.5 lakh posts in IL. As part of the celebration, we are announcing this fun contest. If you have a guess as to the date when we will hit 5 lakh posts, please share it here. If your guess is right, you will win an IL T-Shirt!

    1. One person can make a maximum of 10 guesses!
    2. You should guess an exact date (not a month)
    3. This contest is open until we hit 5 Lakh posts!
    4. If more the one member gets the exact date right, the person who guessed it the earliest will win the prize. The later you guess, the more likely it is right. But the sooner you guess, the more likely you are to win.
    5. The date should be based on Indian Standard Time

    Hi Malathy,

    I have one doubt now regarding the number of total posts from this entire website.

    As you said earlier that all the posts from 'games' and 'Forwarded messages' section will be excluded and the count will be recalculated.

    So the gross total from the website also reduces.

    Am I correct.

    My guess would by 10th jan 2010.... Since our calculations doesn't include forwarded messages i think we will hit 5 lakh posts by 2010....
