when to use hair conditioner

dear friends,

i read a lot of postings abt hair care
most have suggested "use hair conditioner"

1.should it be used after shampooing hair and again washing
or applying conditioner then combing

2. for straightening hair is it advisable to go to parlour or doing by self at home using straitening equipment

hair conditioner is used generally used after shampooing wash it off completely!!!!
products like livon silky potion....are used after hair wash in wet hair or normal days it can be used to de-tangle hair!!!!
