    Hi Moderators & other IL's,
My baby boy is completing 1yr by Jan 2010.He is taking NAN 2 from 6 months(bottlefeed).

How long we have to use formula milk?
How long i can bottle feed ? I slowly want to move him to next phase.
He has got 4 teeths, when to start him with brushing habits?

He is taking water in sipper(one like nipple kind), but not using the sippy cup with straw.

Plz advice & share your suggestions.:)

    Thanks,
    Suganthi

Suganthi - If your baby has no known allergies and you dont have a family history of allergies/asthma then you can start cows milk after his first bday and gradually stop the formula over a month or so. Bottle-feeding duration is your preference - if you can get him to drink milk from a sipper then you can stop the bottle. A straw may be hard for him to handle right now - he may do better with a regular sipper with a spout. What do you have now? Some kids find the one-way valve a problem and wont drink from sippers with valves so check that too.
