    dead silence, esp at nights could not sleep for 2 weeks..:fearscream: as it was so silent not even a firefly or cricket to make some sound.

    extreme openness in the society! Initially was shocked to see men in lingerie store shopping and giving advice to his partner!

    Noise free dust free roads ... No car horn sound scared me! But real culture shock came when I saw middle schoolers holding hands and dancing like couples lost in their own world.

    I wouldnt say a culture shock..But i was more kind of what to react and how to answer my Son..

    We stayed in California in a city where i hadnt seen much of culture shock stuff...PDA was at the max we have seen..On a trip to NY, we found freq Girls and Girls(Similarly Guys and Guys) kissing and showing PDA...Dint know how to react in front of my son
