What to pack and how to get an accomodation in Jefferson City, MO

Hi All,

I will be soon shifting to USA, Missouri state, jefferson city for few years.
It would help me a lot If you can guide me as what should I pack for my travel.
Also share some pointers around the house for rents in jefferson city.
This is my first visit to USA and that too with a big family, 3 kids
