    Happpy Birthday to your lttle boy...............that a one BIG budget............. :thumbsup

    bicycle,swing,small pool,scottie,kiddie laptop,leap frog toys(check the website)............

    small gold pendant,FD in his name,open kids account...........

    donation in his name to orphanage,old home or temple.........can install fan/geyser in some govt schools,hospital,orphanage or temple..........

    designer clothes,shoes,cap,belt............

    a big party .......

    one year kid will be more happy with couple of balloons but the gift is for your own satisfication (and to showoff to friends & relatives:).........)

    Yes that would be great. The other day my friend celebrated her twin daughters birthday with the kids on the street. As one of her daughter was not well so she made cake, sweet, poori and other eatables at home. Made packets with all the food and got chocolates and balloons and took her daughters and gave all the kids a feast. She said all looked so happy and contended. That is so nice one can do for their kids. After all we do celebrate the occasions but what if we can do it differently.

    Hey gr8 idea...instead of plain donation where you dont know what really happens to the money fan/geysers in schools, orphanages is a better idea.

    One more idea is to keep that amount in name of some NGO/Orphanage as FD & every month using the interest amount for some betterment activity. The interest can be accumulated for 3 months or so to make a better change at a given time.

    Hi Friend,

    Advance Birthday Wishes to your son.

    I always gift my friends or their kids what they really want. Usually kids would be really fond of so many toys. But they will be particular about one and they will be keep on asking.

    Check for one like that. May be he will like to drive car (then get him a toy car), laptop (kids love to playwith our laptops).

    But one request, please do give any gift like books, blanket or dress or food to orphange with kids who are struggling to have all these.
