During winter, its really cold here. So on every friday's, we usually watch tamil movies. We would like to watch comedy movies. The last movie, which we watched was action Movie "Aarambham" .

Ivan Veramathiri (2013, Tamil) - average
    Cast: Vikram Prabhu, Surabhi

A political crime thriller story. Love/action/sad - Zero expression on Vikram's face. Uniformly the same dull look on his face, throughout the movie. The villain and hero are look alike, same look/height/built/age. The villain was more expressive!

For about 20 minutes, someone was screaming widely in a locked up room and Vikran hardly spoke a word of his action. There was no strong background or social interest shown for Vikram to bring the politician down? The thrilling aspect was missing in this movie.

Kalyana samayal saadham (2013, Tamil) - below average
    Cast: Prasanna, Lekha Washington

It was supposed to be comedy, low budget movie. Typical Bhagyaraj subject but, the director missed it in making it as comedy? It was pulled into different direction by typical marriage issues. I felt, it was a boring movie.

Watched Kalyana Samayal Saadham yesterday . I liked it . The way Lekha washington handles it , too good .

Prasanna lost his charm . Planning to watch Kanda Naal Mudhal again .

The most recent I watched with my daughter was Frozen! Typical Disney movie. Songs were nice and my daughter just couldn't stop singing 'let it go'!

As for Tamil movies - watched Raja Rani - I loved it but it's nowhere similar to mouna ragam!
All in alaguraja- alluvi ponna raja! Real waste of time!
Villa - slow & boring! Only interesting part is the ending!
Watched moodar koodam on TV - really enjoyed it!

  7. I also loved the movie so much. The character creation is like that. An unmarried man in his early forties living a boring and lonely life, that is how the story starts. That is how the character suits best for Sharuk khan in that movie.

I simply loved it. It was great, though there was some stupidity also in the script (how can the heroine does not recognize her own husband , simply because, he is in jeans and T-shirt with a different hairstyle ?)

Yes it was Zarina Wahab. Personally I think Sooraj R should be asking apologies for the rest of his life for making a mockery of this sweet film in the name of remake!
