What Is Your Preference?

    1) Would you like to be on your own,do what you like,relax and have a quiet peaceful time

    or

    2) Would you like to be around people,get together,laugh and enjoy and go out on weekends?

    I used to come under the second category
    Some years back but off late I come under the first.I don’t want to sleep late nor do I have the mental energy to bring together people not do I care about dressing up.Happy to have a take out,watch a nice movie and have a good nights rest.

    Maybe it is aging :D but can’t say that way also coz there are lot who are way older and freak out just like the good old times.

    just a casual thread ..what’s your preference?

    I always like to be alone, wear my comfortable PJ, and have quiet & peaceful time :) That's something very luxurious in my life.

    But what I have is a different life style, that I can't avoid.
    Back in Sri Lanka, there will always be people in my house. My siblings, cousins, their family, friends etc..etc... someone or the other will visit, have fun, invite us for parties or else we will have to invite them home. Weekends will be always busy, crazy with kids playing around, loud music, watching IPL or netflix together and more importantly cooking large meals together.
    Little to no time to rest or focus on personal matter. No me time at all. Because, week days will be busy as usual with work & life, and weekends will be party & stuff.

    But I really love this life here in abroad. It is so quiet, simple and peaceful. Kids & H hate this life to the core. They are bored, and yet to make friends to socialize here. But until then, I am going to enjoy this peaceful time.

    Such a meeting has been a long-held dream of me and my friends. We used to dream of going on a cruise so we are together yet on our own.

    And then Covid happened. LOL. Now, no money can tempt us to board a ship. : )
