That needs a lot of things put together from the mum... to find that way and then make it work for the kid... Sorry, how can kids be suicidal?.. ... or is it when they become adults?

I don’t know but now I know they can. They can have other co morbid conditions - anxiety being the most common. Bipolar, mood disorders, depression all co exist with HFA at times. It’s hard for the kids or parents to know and do the right things at the right time. I’m glad your friend’s son has savant skills and is also not having other issues that come with the territory. I hope and pray that he continues to grow and thrive.
When kids are constantly bullied , called freak,crazy every day in school. I guess it pushes them to suicide.
