this year A T I 'll give neer moor & foods to poor people.My mother in law will plan to buy Uppu.{Salt}. Last year we do the same.It's give very satisfaction for us.

Thanks a ton for the kanaka Mahalakshmi Picture on this auspicious day. Even we are for the Poor feeding and little charity work. Not having sentiments about buying gold or any costly things. Just went to Samayapuram temple and did Abhishegam prayedto goddess to give good health and happiness to all.

Dear chithra madam,
Nice article even though I read late, I can understand the true meaning behind the Akshaya thridhi day , charity. we sent money to a charity organisation for annadhanam that day eventhough they may not do it exactly the same day. As you said after we brought a gold ring and a stud the next day itself gold prices started to fall down. I think good deeds done on this day will bring us more prosperity.
