What do you think about the recent NRI deaths in USA?

Hi Friends,

Recently there are close to 6-7 incidents that have targetted NRI students and IT professionals. Most of the incidents are targetted to Indians especially from Andhra state.

Is there any specific reason behind this?
Is the US govt taking any step to resolve the murders?
Are the NRI community raising any voice on these incidents?

It appears to me personally as a more psycho character persons attempt on these murders due to the mounting un-employment rates. But do not see any rational on why University students are victimised too.?

This is really a serious issue threating the hopes and scope of many Indians living in US and India.

Please share your views so that NRI indians can start protecting themselves and being more careful in their external dealings in a foreign land.

Those are sad incidents.....might be you are right dear....We always avoid going to areas that are critical and warned by other Indians in our place.

Most of the indians killed are working in 7-11's. A lot of students from India come here on f-1 visa and work part time in 7-11's it is common knowledge that it is a hard and dangerous job. It is a very sad that people are being killed but no one is targeting indians, its just that mostly Indian students are working in places where there are a lot of dangers. The govt. can not do anything because most of the students work illegally for other indians. Just my thoughts and observations.
