What do the kids learn in LKG, UKG in schools....

Hi Every One (whose kids r in lkg,ukg )
Please post here what your kids are been taught in school in Hyderabad in CBSE syllabus.....

Eng,Maths,G.K, Language(if any) in CBSE syllabus..
Especially the writing part.....

hi,

my kid is studying 1 std in bangalore cbse.I think syllabus is same for all cbse schools.based on this i will give what my daughter studied in her ukg.
in lkg they teach only alphabets,numbers,rhymes,colouring.at year end they start cursive writing.
In ukg they teach cursive writing,numbers in words,story telling,songs,rhymes,moral science(food habits,healthy habits),Gk(rainbow colours,days,months etc),picture talk(some sentences seeing the picture)

year end they will start 2and 3 letter words, small addition(one digit),2 and 3 tables.cursive writing.

I think this will be useful for you.

Thanks a lot for giving information .It will be very useful to me.
Alphabets means both Capital and Small alphabets we have to teach and numbers 1 to 100 is enough or we have to teach more.......
Alphabets they write in four line book or single line book.

dear sreesha,

for english they use 4 line and for numbers they use squares note.

Alphabets-both smaller and upper case

numbers lkg- 1 to 50

ukg 1 to 200and words 1 to 20.
