Does anybody remember Jaspal Bhatti's "Flop Show"? It's my favourite Indian show. Apart from that I have liked: 1) Seinfeld (Greatest sitcom. Can be streamed on Hulu.) 2) Breaking Bad 3) Game of Thrones 4) Curb Your Enthusiasm (From the co-creator of Seinfeld. Delightful sitcom following a crotchety old man negotiating life after retiring rich from creating Seinfeld.) 5) Fargo (I only liked Season 1. It's a crime drama/black comedy set in in the snowy town of Fargo, North Dakota. Don't go by the latter seasons, just watch the first featuring the British actor, Martin Freeman of The Office fame.) 6) 24 (Jack Bauer) 7) Survivor (This is my favourite reality show. You must have heard of it. It is currently in its 34th season and first aired in 2000. 16 people are marooned on a tropical island with very little food and water and forced to compete in challenges. Every episode they have to vote somebody out. Great social experiment, fine insights into human nature). 8) Gomorrah (I just discovered this fantastic Italian crime drama. Very gritty, violent and dark. Think The Sopranos but in Italy and much more realistic.) 9) The Shield (Gritty cop and crime drama set in Los Angeles. Again, very violent.) 10) Star Trek: The Next Generation (Science Fiction) 11) The Tudors (This is a British show following the life and loves of the English King Henry VIII). 12) Rome (One of my all-time favourite HBO shows, should have placed it at the top. Set in Ancient Rome, following the power struggles of Julius Caesar, Brutus, Augustus and Mark Anthony.) 13) Deadwood (HBO drama set in the Wild West). 14) Rick Stein's India (The British chef travels around India discovering the cuisine of the country and then retires to his houseboat in Kerala to cook the dishes he has learnt. Absolutely wonderful.) 15) Bosch (Nice cop drama set in L.A. airing on Amazon Prime). 16) Everwood (Nice American drama) 17) Firefly (Science Fiction meets Old West). All of these shows can be downloaded easily. Let me know if you have seen and/or liked any of these.

there's a show called 'Raja Rasoi aur anya Kahaaniyaan' . it is brilliantly made. it's about indian food history and each episode covers one state and tells a lot about their food and recipes and street eats. it's a must watch and droolworthy with all those food visuals
Here's a bit from the past year that I've been watching. Lion - with Dev Patel. It's so good. Sensate8 - only those with high tolerance to sexual/sensual content should try this. Agents of Shield Secret Lives of Pets A Series of Unfortunate Events - the new series. Nice pacing and interesting When Calls the Heart - Canadian historical series. It's cute and endearing Bomb Girls - Canadian side during WW2. Women centric and Girl power Bletchley Circle - UK production about female code breaks post WW2
