I am trying to read two books parallely now! One I had started a few days back, I had this book at home but hadn't touched it for long. And then I found myself helpless with no other book at hand (I had no time to go to the library to change my book)

Its not about the bike - Lance Armstrong

And when I got a chance to exchange my library book - I bought this
    Intervention - Robin Cook

Medical fiction being one my favs I jst couldn't resist it!

Yes, Padma mami, it did seem like that for a while!
Read Same soul, Many bodies by Dr. Weiss as well. Good book again. Dr. Weiss goes on to give more accounts covering life's lessons like humility, patience, compassion, spirituality, love to name a few.

I had read half way through the book 'Living with the Himlayan masters' a year ago. Your mentioning the book reminded me:) Finished it last week. Now, I would like to read ' Autobiography of a Yogi' - which for some reason I never seem to finish.

Heard from a dear friend, that if a thought nags you or you are trying to find an answer for something - you just open the book and the page you chance upon points out a relevant message for you. I thought that was lovely, though haven't had a chance to try it out.

Nothing like going back to the books you have enjoyed!

    Dear Sindhu,

That rings a bell, I may have voiced the very same thoughts!
Actually happens to me every time...

Sindhu, I'm eager to read your views as you read 'Yogi'...

    Love,
    Padma

    Hi All !
Currently reading two books simultaneously , one during free time, one before bedtime :

"The Blood Of Others" by Simone de Baeuvoir
, an existentialist story about the different aspects of personal freedom.

"Forever, Erma" a collection of the newspaper coloumns written by the Erma Bombeck. A supremely talented humourist who could see something comical even in the most mundane things in life.

    Dear Vidya,

'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne basically deals with the law of attraction to achieve whatever one wants, positive thoughts bring about positive results...

This is a very interesting book, the concept of having a good life, good health, good relationships, money... when you focus on somethign and send out positive thoughts, the Universe responds by actually making it happen...

The book also talks about expressing gratitude for all the good things that one has in life, about loving oneself before showing love to others, looking at the good qualities in others ...

Read the book or watch the movie...

Hope you enjoy The Secret as much as I did!

    Love,
    Padma
