Well, I have decided to buy him a watch of his favourite at the Dubai duty free. But unfortunately I will travel via Dubai only on 24th Feb, so my gift will go little later:(

For the actual valentine day, I have collected all of his lovely e mails since last valantine (some silly ones too) and pasted them in a word document. Where I have highlighted all his love words/promisses in green and posted my comments under them:)

I too have added some cliparts like 'hearts, teddy bears, roses, baloons and smilies in that document to make it colourful. It looks really nice and reader friendly:thumbsup

I will send him that document on Feb 14 in the early morning:)

    - This is to tell him how nice he was throughout this year (despite all our bitter arguments and fightings)
    - And for me to understand, how many days, how many times he repeatedly expressed his love for me, and how I felt happy during all those times;)

This is going to be our last valentine in tow different countries.. Hopefully we will be always together in our future valentines:)

    Dear Nalini,

Basically Valentine's day is not a religious event. It is rather a rememberance day of St Valentine, the former roman catholic priest and bishop of Italy.

According to the history, St Valentine has helped many soldires to get married and re unite with their loved ones regardles of his country's strict rules during the world war time. As a result he was sentensed to death, and was buried on Feb 14.

The modern society celebrates this day as lovers' day and exchange gifts, cards, poems etc... to express their love or rekindle it.

    Hope I helped.
