Hi Charu, This is explained in section 2 of our Forum Etiquette. I am reproducing here below for your convenience. 2. Member Status Guidelines The lifeline of this forum is participation. As such, we have a way of categorizing members based on their participation level. However, we strongly recommend that you don’t make posts with the intention of raising post count. Others will quickly notice that you are doing this. The hierarchy of status are: >0 Posts – New Member >50 Posts – Junior Member >250 Posts – Senior Member >500 Posts – Silver Member >1000 Posts – Gold Member >2500 Posts – Platinum Member >5000 Posts – IL Hall of Fame Member Posts made in “Games” and “Forwarded Messages and Jokes” forum do not count towards member statuses.
Dear Indus lady, My name is nischel.I am an old member in our il group.My Membership was elevated to Gold Ilite.For some time I am not in touch with our Ilfourms since i was not in Headquarters and frequent power cuts in the local area.But under my name now i saw that my member status was as"Junior Ilite"How it is so happened?Is the posts number is being counted fresh from a particular date?plz clarify my doubt. Hello Nischel, Welcome back! I'm quoting the below lines from the 2nd post in the same thread. Because we stopped counting posts made in the "Games" forums, your total post count reduced and hence your status changed from Gold to Junior. Please note that the actual posts have not been deleted. They are there in the games threads that you posted. Only they are not counted for elevating your member status. We made an announcement about this change before making it. Refer here.
