Hi friends, I have lots of very neatly maintained salwars I would like to donate. Kindly let me know it will be better if some where near ramurthy nagar r surroundings or any place n also hv my 2 yrs old sons cloth which is again very good.
If you visit any shirdi sai baba temple they will have an office where you will get info about donations to institutions for the less capable. I must say, in this world where humans crave for material bliss(belonging to them as well as others), you have thought to donate what is yours. It is a noble deed and much appreciated indeed !
Hi rekhanat, it is a really generous thought and i appreciate u for the same. there is an orphanage in indira nagar, but i don't know the exact address. My husband knows it. I will ask him and then send you the details. Happy to see such a soul in this materialistic world. God bless you !
Hi Rekhanat, Your very thought of donation is highly appreciable. You can donate old clothes to RK foundation (Welcome to R.K. Foundation :: Home page). They have a lot of collection centers set across Bangalore, do check their website. At RK Foundation the donated old clothes go into an old clothes bank, apart from the clothes they also have a food bank and Medicine bank. For clothes they have a Project Vastra this provides both new and used clothing to people living in poverty, making no distinction of age, gender, race, colour, religion, ability or nation of origin.. Regards, Vishaka
Rekha, there is a blind school 'Jyoti Seva' in Venkateshpuram, Nagawara. Around 80-90 boys/girls reside there...I usually give my clothes to this institution...it would be 15 min away from your house...you can donate there if you still have them...let me know if you want the contact details...
