insurance info for a L2 person

My friend will be accompanying her husband (works for some software company at B'lore) on L2 visa. Her insurance is through the company. However, she is diabetic. Her insurance doesn't want to cover her diabetic supplies. Can she have a pharma-care seperately to cover her diabetic supplies. Her doctor visits may be covered on her primary insurance.

    Your inputs are very helpful.

    Re: insurance for parents

    Folks,

Try Tata-AIG Travel Guard Travel Insurance, it's absolutely awesome for upto and available for 6 months travel time and then extensible for another 3mos. Your Parents would have to get it before they begin travel from India.

    Thanks.

    Raman

    Health insurance for my MIL

    Hi friends,

My MIL(age 50) is planning to come to US for few weeks along with my BIL(He is coming here for a conference). I would like to know the procedures regarding health insurance for my MIL.

Also if me and my husband sponsor for her trip, how much bank balance we should show for her visa interview?

I think many of you would have some experience in this. So please throw some light.

    Thanks.

    Re: Insurance Information

    Hi Ammu,

I think there is a good thread where many has already discussed here regarding medical Insurance for visitors....

I tried to get for you that thread, but i didn't find it ....

I got Seven Corner Insurance in online for my parents and in-laws,anyway i didn't get any need to go for any claim.

    All the best...
