I am currently on F-1 status and I had cahnged my status inside the counrty. Now thinking of travelling to Canada to get my visa stamped. Without the visa, I'm nervous about planning India trips(more time andm ore money needed). I have my semester break now in January and I'm planning to go with a friend who is a permanent resident here.

I am having the usual apprehensions but one question on top of my head right now is - in the case my F-1 is denied, can I apply for a H-4 in Canada itself? Are there chances that my H-4 will be denied? I am willing to risk my F-1 denial but I definitely want to come back and finsih my degree. Not to mention, I cannot be with DH for too long! :)

    Any recent experiences?
