Thanks for your pick up. Parcel ethukku,recipeye tharen. Recipe: Rava/semolina - 1 cup(can be replaced by 1/2 cup broken wheat) Fresh curd - 1/2 cup Water - 1/2 cup eno salt - 3/4 teaspoon Cashews - few Mustard, channal dhal - 1/2 tsp each Oil - 1 tbls Chopped veggies - 1/4 cup Coriander leaves,curry leaves Method: 1.Take rava in a bowl 2.In a kadai,add oil.Fry cashews golden brown,set aside. In the same oil,Temper mustard,channa dal,curry leaves(roughly chopped small pieces) 3. Add veggies(I used tiny cubes of carrots,beans and green pea) Just a stir for few seconds....Don't keep for long.Add chopped coriander leaves. 4. Pour into the bowl of Rava. 5. Add curd and salt.Mix well. 6. Add water just enough to get idly batter consistency. If its too thick will get ROCK idlis If its too thin, you will get paper idlis SO Choice is yours. :biggrin2: 7. Meanwhile,Get your Steamer ready.Oil the plates.Set aside. 8. Now add eno to the Rava curd mix,Stir well.You will get bubbles. 9. Spoon into oiled molds immediately. 10. Place the fried cashews on top OR Garnish while serving. 11. Steam for 10 minutes.Check if its done. Serve hot with your fav chutneys. Thanks.
